The History of the Brand
From the Alps to the Himalayas, Hercules embodies the perfect blend of robustness, precision, and elegance. This Swiss brand draws its inspiration from the exploits of legendary mountaineers, offering watches designed for modern adventurers seeking performance and character.
Hercules watches are entirely Swiss-made, employing high-quality mechanical movements:
- Micro-rotor movement: With its discreet automatic winding system, this movement allows for a slimmer watch profile, while offering an unobstructed view of the decorated bridges and luminous SuperLuminova lines visible through an anti-reflective treated sapphire case back.
- Manual movement with double barrel: This mechanism offers an impressive 120-hour (5-day) power reserve. The engravings depicting Nanga Parbat, filled with Super-LumiNova BGW9, add a unique touch to this exceptional timepiece.
Each piece is assembled by hand and subjected to the rigorous "Chronometric Observatory+" certification tests by Timelab in Geneva, guaranteeing exemplary precision and reliability.
In 1953, Austrian mountaineer Hermann Buhl became the first man to conquer the formidable Nanga Parbat (8,126 m), one of the world's most dangerous peaks. Equipped with Hercules watches, he proved their robustness and reliability in extreme conditions. Since then, these watches have become a symbol of strength and resilience for adventurers worldwide.
Hercules continues to draw inspiration from heroic feats like that of Hermann Buhl to create watches that combine Swiss watchmaking tradition with contemporary innovation. Whether you're climbing mountains or facing everyday challenges, a Hercules watch is the ideal companion to push your limits.
"Swiss watchmaking that accompanies you to the top."
