The History of the Brand
Among the great founding families of fine watchmaking, the Meylan family has left its mark on history since the 18th century. Trained in the art of watchmaking in Rolle and Fleurier, Samuel-Olivier Meylan and Abraham-Samuel Meylan brought their expertise back to the Vallée de Joux. Samuel-Olivier then designed pocket watches equipped with musical movements, establishing a tradition where precision and passion are intertwined.
CLAUDE MEYLAN perpetuates this heritage by pushing the boundaries of skeleton watchmaking. Each movement is meticulously "undressed" and decorated, revealing openworked bridges, chiseled wheels, and unique architectural designs. This quest for harmony and refinement transforms each piece into a sculpted work of art, where time is revealed in all its splendor.
Always striving for excellence, CLAUDE MEYLAN combines historical movements with contemporary technical advancements. Each watch embodies a perfect balance between classicism and modernity, between precision mechanics and timeless aesthetics.
Wearing a CLAUDE MEYLAN watch is to display a fragment of history, enhanced by exceptional watchmaking artistry. For enthusiasts and connoisseurs, it is also the assurance of owning a rare piece, where every detail tells a story and every movement is a celebration of time.
