The BEHRENS “11G” model is a limited edition wristwatch, made of carbon fiber and equipped with a hand-wound movement. This exclusive timepiece, limited to 33 pieces for the purple version (48 for the green version), represents the pinnacle of BEHRENS’ craftsmanship and innovation, overcoming traditional weight constraints while incorporating a sleek and modern design.

The concept
BEHRENS’ innovative design for the “11G” model draws inspiration from ancient Chinese culture, particularly the historical tool known as the “Hu.” This tool, used by Chinese ministers during the Tang Dynasty, served as a flat scepter to record notes and orders. The design of the watch reflects the shape and style of the “Hu,” incorporating curved elements to create an ergonomic and visually striking timepiece. The integration of traditional Chinese cultural elements with modern watchmaking techniques exemplifies BEHRENS’ commitment to heritage and innovation.

The “11G” model features a series of innovative features, including a bi-retrograde hour/minute display in the lower left and right corners, powered by a special mechanism developed in-house. The movement structure, visible under the sapphire crystal, highlights the beauty of the curved mechanism. In addition, the watch features a power reserve indicator in the upper left corner, indicating a power reserve of 38 hours. Special coatings on the gears ensure durability, while the ergonomic design ensures comfort when worn.
