A leading figure in the BCCU, the “Black Corner Cinematic Universe,” for the past 10 years, Black Dynamite loudly proclaims its mantra: “I didn't know it was impossible. A unique label of its kind…
Founded in London by director, artist, and designer Blyne in 2015, almost exactly 10 years ago, Black Corner is a unique and atypical label. It's both an electro-rock/dark-wave band drawing inspiration from electro, post-punk, new wave, original 80s East Coast rap, and nu metal, and a comprehensive artistic and design label. Black Corner creates music and produces its own works, available on all digital platforms and on vinyl. The label designs street couture clothing, jewelry, accessories, sneakers, everyday objects, artwork, street art, books, documentary and fiction films, music videos, and more.
The inspiration for this highly creative collective: the dystopian, chaotic, and often violent beauty of this dying, post-20th-century world and the painful gestation of the next… A long-time collector of fine and independent timepieces, Blyne naturally added watch design to Black Corner's creative palette.
