Citizen Tsuyosa

The launch of the TSUYOSA series was an important collection in CITIZEN’s portfolio, as it marked an era when CITIZEN used stainless steel for its models, while many other affordable watches were made of brass. The steel TSUYOSA collection was more robust and refined, and featured elegant finishing, including a smooth finish on the top of the case that contrasted with the mirror-polished bezel and central elements of the bracelet. These models, known for their luxurious design and attention to detail, were very popular in the late 1990s and 2000s.

This new TSUYOSA model is the modernized version with a larger case (40 mm), luminous hands and indexes. The caliber 8210 ensures precise timekeeping, while the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The screwed glass case back guarantees safe handling. Details such as the beveling, fine brushing and polishing of the case and bracelet, the smooth and wavy links of the bracelet, which ensure high wearing comfort, and the sapphire crystal take the watch to the next level. The new collection is available in several dial colors.
